  • Health & Safety Specialist - $18.60 per hour

    Classification: Full-time

    The Health & Safety Specialist will assist the Chief Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer in managing these programs including the agency’s COVID-19 safety program and act as the safety liaison in various capacities. The Health & Safety Specialist will serve as the Chairperson for Ride Connection’s Safety Committee. They will works with the Chief Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer to coordinate follow-up for identified safety concerns. The Health & Safety Specialist will conduct virtual or in-person COVID-19 safety assessments.

  • Travel Navigator - Russian - $16.14

    We are looking for a full-time Travel Navigator (Customer Service Representative) to provide superior, quality customer service to ensure that each person who requests service is treated with dignity, respect and patience. We are looking for someone who can speak and read Russian fluently so that they can assist our Russian speaking customers. We are looking for a friendly, patient and reliable person to answer a high volume of incoming calls from customers and ensure accurate input of their requests for transportation into our computer system.

  • Software Systems Trainer - $20.06 per hour

    Classification: FT

    We are seeking a Software Systems Trainer who has demonstrated experience teaching technology to diverse communities. The successful candidate for this position is a natural problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills, has a love for teaching, and a knack for process improvement.

    The Software Systems Trainer will work to support the Ride to Care non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) network providers by increasing their overall knowledge and understanding of the scheduling and dispatch software used by the NEMT program. This position requires someone with the ability to quickly build rapport and deliver information and training in a simple and succinct manner. Information and training materials may be delivered individually, in a group, or may be hosted on our online learning platform.

  • Mobility for Health Specialist - $18.60 per hour

    Location: NE Portland

    We are looking for someone who has a desire to impact our ability to provide more transportation options in the community by becoming a Mobility for Health Specialist.  They Mobility Specialist will serve as a Ride Connection representative and collaborate with internal and external partners in an effort to provide wrap-around support to eligible customers in historically marginalized communities. The overarching goal of this effort is to provide for a coordinated, comprehensive approach to enhancing an individual’s knowledge and ability to access appropriate transportation options independently. We are looking for a person that is flexible, a creative thinker and problem solver. They are comfortable with reaching out to individuals and groups.

  • Dispatcher/Scheduler - $15.37 per hour

    Location: NE Portland
    Classification: FT

    We are looking for a full-time Dispatcher/Scheduler to facilitate getting customers to and from their destinations in an efficient and effective manner using demand-response public transportation programs by providing the communication link between customers, drivers, agency staff and agency partners in an environment that is often hectic and always changing. Looking at the “big-picture” and taking into account many different factors including operational, timing, customer and funding, the dispatcher/scheduler responds to schedule changes, often last-minute, to maximize efficiency in the system while maintaining a superior level of quality customer service to ensure that each person who requests Ride Connection service is treated with dignity, respect and patience.  We are looking for a person that can clearly communicate over the phone and through a radio relaying important information and answering questions. This person would also help create schedulers for Drivers. We are looking for a problem solver, someone who can remain calm and collective, and have a passion for helping people in our community lead more independent lives

  • Driver - Tualatin - Saturdays Required - $16.80/hr - PT

    Classification: Part-time

    Could have early morning and evening hours, Saturdays required, getting 20 hours per week, scheduled 1 – 3 days per week. This position would have a regular schedule and could get more hours filling in for other drivers. The early morning hours are eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour differential pay.  During COVID, we are paying our Drivers an additional $2.00 per hour. The following protocol has been started as a result of COVID to keep our Drivers and Customers safe: masks are required for Drivers and Customers, protective equipment is provided, barriers are installed in most of our vehicles with plans for the rest, time is built into the schedule to santize the vehicle between rides, a sanitizing fogger is used in the evenings, a limit of 4 customers on the bus and no shared rides in other vehicles.
